Hackathon Rules
Please read the following rules and guidelines before participating. Fair play makes this event better for everyone.

Eligibility
- Open to all students and developers across India — no age restrictions.
- Register with a valid email address and WhatsApp number.
- One registration per person. Duplicate accounts will be disqualified.

Team Rules
- Participate solo or in a team of up to 4 members (including team leader).
- Team members are added during submission. Only the leader needs to register.
- Each person may be part of only one team — no multiple submissions.

Submission Guidelines
- Projects must be built during the hackathon period.
- Submit a public GitHub repo with a README explaining the project.
- A demo video (YouTube / Google Drive) is required. Live demo is optional.
- Optionally upload a presentation or report (PDF, max 10 MB).
- Projects must fit one of the announced themes.

Judging Criteria
- Innovation (25 pts) — Originality of the idea and approach.
- Working Demo (25 pts) — Does the project actually work?
- Code Quality (25 pts) — Clean, well-structured, documented code.
- Presentation (25 pts) — Demo video, README, and report quality.

AI Tools Policy
- AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, etc.) are allowed.
- Honestly declare all AI tools used and how you used them.
- Entirely AI-generated projects with no human contribution may be flagged.

Intellectual Property
- You retain full ownership of your project's IP.
- Projects must be original. Plagiarised work will be disqualified.
- Submitting confirms your project doesn't infringe on anyone's IP.

Code of Conduct
- Be respectful to all participants, organisers, and judges.
- No offensive, harmful, or illegal content.
- Cheating, harassment, or misconduct = immediate disqualification.
- Organisers reserve the right to disqualify at their discretion.

Prizes & Coupons
- Winners get CodeAJ coupons (90% / 80% / 70% off), cash, and winner certificates.
- Every valid submission earns a participation coupon (10–50% off) and certificate.
- Coupons have an expiry date and are non-transferable.
